Welcome to another edition of Lake Woods Outdoorsman. I just wanted to start by thanking everyone that has made this transition in my life possible. We booths ice / cross on the large body of water and they are catching fish! I started in about 18 ‘of water, but are installed in 25′ just off the road to Adrian, which is about 2 miles past Pine Island. The colors of light were working great, but with this much light bite have been successful on the single hook with a stopper death on a stick. I spoke with workers around the resort lake and the bite is constant throughout this time. Only snowmobile, ATV and station Tracker traffic are allowed on the ice roads now. I spoke with Brian Ney, with Adrian yesterday and he said that we need a little colder before starting to leave platforms size on the ice … he thought it might be a week, but this is only speculation … Pray for cold weather!
