2012 Jumbo Perch Ice Fishing – Lake Simcoe
Underwater video
a trip ice fishing on Lake Simcoe recent. A few jumbo perch appear on the camera as well as many small perch. More efforts have been devoted to the development of cameras and encourage them to fish on trying to catch them. This is evident by the technique – or lack thereof! Another beautiful day on the ice, many fish caught all but a handful released – hope you enjoy.

Ice fishing on small lakes is cheap, fun, ideal for beginners and children to learn and gives you an appreciation of nature during the winter months. I think it would be nice to take your children or a group of boy / girl scouts to experience some good old trout or crappie ice fishing because it is soo soo simple but fruitful. I spend about $ 30 per year and most of that is just heads and a new spool of line. If you are outside all day you can also bring a can of beans and some hot dogs and make a quick fire on the shore. Occasionally, if the wind is less than five km / h I get a Coleman stove and make a small fried fish and while power has slowed afternoon. I added some thoughts and points of mine, but the key is security when you go out on the ice. Most of the points are a bit confusing so you may need to pause the video, I tried to get as many as I could in the short amount of time. Regarding crappie, they are a species picky, but you get the hang of them quickly and where there is there is always a little more. I forgot to add that the best times to fish are like most species in the morning and late afternoon. There will most likely be a lull in the afternoon, where you can warm up a little, take a meal, or if you already have enough fish for dinner / lunch and I used to go to the home with my decision. In addition, if you get 4 or 5 on a hole and you know it’s lunch time, but it slows down your hole, go another 20-August 1 30feet away … Always stay on the road with Crappie …
